With more than 40 years in the hardwood flooring industry, Jim Henderson began his career as a floor installer and finisher in the early 1980s. In the mid-1990s, he founded Patina Old World Flooring, building it into a respected manufacturer serving many of the nation's premier hardwood flooring showrooms.
Known for creating and installing one-of-a-kind wood floors, Jim has completed projects throughout the United States, Europe, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Veranda, California Homes, and Town & Country.
Over his career, Jim has worked with numerous celebrity clients, including Cher, Olivia Newton-John, Eddie Murphy, Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, Billy Bob Thornton, Donald Sutherland, and Jennifer Aniston. He has also designed and developed flooring collections for manufacturers in Brazil, Bolivia, and the United States, combining craftsmanship, manufacturing expertise, and product innovation.
Today, Jim continues to work with architects, designers, manufacturers, and luxury flooring showrooms to bring unique wood flooring and surface solutions to market.
