Vision Wood — Thermo-treated Long Leaf Heart Pine.

Thermally modified wood is natural lumber enhanced through a chemical-free process using high heat and steam in a specialized kiln. This permanently changes the wood's cellular structure, increasing its resistance to rot, insects, and warping while creating a rich, consistent color throughout the material.

With this process Vision Wood has recreated the look of the antique heart pine floors that have graced Southeast homes for the last 250 years. These planks are available engineered or solid, with widths from 2¼″ to 11″ and lengths up to 16 feet.
